When you have finished sightseeing for the day, freshened-up again and dined, you may feel like going for a drink, or for other entertainment. Since the easiest option, the hotel bar, is probably going to be expensive and not much fun, let us guide you to some of the spots where you may find a more enjoyable atmosphere and, perhaps, new friends.

Guilin is generally a safe city but you should take the usual precautions when going out after dark. We strongly recommend that you take a hotel card with you and take a taxi to get back when you are ready - even if you haven't gone far.
